On December 10, the reporter learned from the State Grid Inner Mongolia Eastern Power Co., Ltd. that the fourth UHV project in Inner Mongolia, "Shanghai Temple (within the territory of Etuokeke of Ordos City)-Shandong Linyi UHV DC Transmission Project" was awarded national development reform This means that all UHV projects in the State Grid included in the "Air Pollution Prevention and Control Action Plan" have been approved.
This project is the first UHV DC project in Shandong Province, and the second ± 800 kV in China, and the second ± 800 kV in the world. The transmission capacity is 10 million kilowatts. The UHV DC project of the AC grid is planned to be completed and put into operation next July, and the power transmission capacity to Shandong will reach 4 million kilowatts. This is the sixth UHV project approved by the State Grid Corporation of China this year, marking the approval of the “four-crossing, four-direct” UHV project in the air pollution control action plan.
In 2013, in order to accelerate the comprehensive treatment of air pollution in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and other regions, the National Energy Administration proposed 12 key transmission channel implementation plans, of which 4 UHV transmission channels starting from central and western Inner Mongolia were included in the national plan. At present, the construction of two UHV AC transmission channels of "Xilinguole League-Shandong" and "Mengxi-Tianjin South" has begun. The "Xilinguole League-Taizhou, Jiangsu" UHVDC transmission project was approved early last month. The UHV DC transmission project has been approved again, which means that the pace of building a clean energy output base in Inner Mongolia has been further accelerated.
